The Story of Us
Australia Day has come to mean everything and nothing. From divisive politics and tattoos to lamb ads and increasing apathy, Australians don't know if, what or how to celebrate and have become either intractable or disengaged.
With over half of us born or with at least one parent born overseas there is nothing 'typical' about Australians, so we embraced being the most diverse nation on earth to create its most representative campaign ever. Continuing our long storytelling tradition, Australians shared their own unique experiences and contributed to the ongoing Story of Us. By acknowledging our shared past, present and future, building understanding and encouraging all parties to listen to each other we hope to ease the journey to whatever future or date the day holds.
